4-Day Young Chefs From Scratch Cooking Camp for Ages 15–18 (GCC Main | June 8–11, 2026)
Get cooking in this hands-on camp designed for teens ages 15–18. Over four days, participants will build essential kitchen skills while preparing a variety of recipes from scratch. Students will learn kitchen safety, basic food preparation techniques, and foundational cooking and baking skills while making items such as cookies, fresh pasta, Alfredo sauce, and pizza dough. This camp is all about building confidence in the kitchen, trying new skills, and enjoying the process from start to finish. No prior cooking experience is needed—just come ready to learn, create, and enjoy what you make.

Who: Students ages 15-18 year old
Instructor: Chef Carissa Rupe
Sessions: This four-day half-day camp meets Monday through Thursday, June 8–11, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. Participants should plan to attend all four sessions. Students will be dismissed at the end of each session, and parents/guardians are responsible for coordinating pickup and transportation after dismissal.

↩️ Refund Policy: Unless otherwise specified, students must drop non-credit Community Education classes prior to the first class start date to be eligible for a 100% refund. Refunds are issued to the original form of payment. To drop a Community Education class, email CTE@gccaz.edu at least 24 hours before the class start date.
