Design It. Print It! Intro to 3D Printing (GCC Main | Oct. 14, 2026)

Curious about 3D printing? Get hands-on with the technology in this beginner-friendly workshop for teens and adults. Using Tinkercad, you’ll create your own simple 3D design while learning the basics of 3D modeling and printing. You’ll explore how 3D printers work, how designs are prepared for printing, and how an idea on the screen becomes a physical object.
Location: GCC - Main Campus, 6000 W Olive Ave., STEAMworks Center (SWC) Building , Glendale, AZ 853O2
Date/Time: Wednesday, October 14, 2026 from 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Your custom design will be 3D printed for you to keep. Because printing takes time, finished projects will be available for pickup at GCC after the workshop. No prior 3D design or printing experience is needed.
