Unleash your creativity in our Paper Cut-Out Workshop! Learn the ancient art of paper cutting and transform simple sheets into stunning, multi-dimensional artwork. This hands-on session is perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters alike.

  • What You Will Learn: Blade mastery: Learn safe, precise techniques for using craft knives and scissors. 
  • Layering depth: Master the secrets of creating 3D effects with paper shadows. 
  • Negative space: Understand how to balance empty space with intricate details.
  • Design transfer: Discover how to sketch and map your concepts before cutting.

All participants must sign a General Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability (Waiver) form before participating. If the participant is under 18, the form must be signed by a parent or guardian. The waiver is linked below for preview, and a physical copy will be available to sign at check-in before class begins, or you may print and bring a signed copy.

↩️ Refund Policy: Unless otherwise specified, students must drop non-credit Community Education classes prior to the class start date to be eligible for a 100% refund.  Refunds are issued to the original form of payment. To drop a Community Education class, email CTE@gccaz.edu at least 24 hours before the class start date. Please include your name and the class you wish to drop.
