Leaders-in-Training are at the center of fun challenges and creative STEM learning at Camp Invention. When you register your middle schooler for the Leaders-in-Training program, you’ll give them the opportunity to take on the role of a Camp Invention counselor. Get cooking in this hands-on camp designed for teens ages 12–14. Over four days, participants will build essential kitchen skills while preparing a variety of recipes from scratch. Students will learn kitchen safety, basic food preparation techniques, and foundational cooking and baking skills while making items such as cookies, fresh pasta, Alfredo sauce, and pizza dough. This camp is all about building confidence in the kitchen, trying new skills, and enjoying the process from start to finish.
